The Phantom Voice
As the Christmas season is coming closer, most people are rushing to get their things done in time for Christmas, and most wouldn’t stop to help someone. Recently a homeless man named Joel Hartman in Atlanta was looking for food in a trash can when he found a wallet with a woman’s ID in it and didn’t stop until he returned it. Before Hartman could find the woman he went to several hotels to see if she was a guest at their hotel. When Hartman walked into the Omni Hotel and asked the manager Scott Stuckey if she was a guest there and it turns out she was.
After returning the wallet and leaving the hotel with only handing the security guards the wallet, Stuckey went on a mission to find Hartman and reward him for bringing the wallet back. After the hotel staff found Hartman they rewarded him by letting him stay in a luxury room, treated him with room service and gave him $500. Hartman had stated that if he had lost his wallet he would want someone to do the same for him.

With Hartman’s good deed and being on the news for it, his family, who he hasn’t see him in over 10 years had seen him on the news. After his family saw the news, they travelled to Atlanta to visit him. This was the first time Hartman had a Thanksgiving dinner with his two step brothers. After their first meal together, Hartman had stated that he is hoping he can have a new and happy life with his new family.
